DD Foundation is a private international nonprofit, working o developing democratic institutions — by supporting the ecosystem of democracy development via consultancy and training.
Based mostly on the ideas of Karl Popper and Francis Fukuyama, we believe that the best environments that enable societal innovation are built on democratic institutions – rule of law, separation of powers, democratic accountability, ideological pluralism, etc. For this purpose DD works on empowering philosophy and research on democracy, creating wide public discussion on democracy development and helping institutions adapt based on the results of both research and public discussion.
