EPD are pleased to welcome OneWorld to the Community of Practice. OneWorld is a non-profit UK-based organisation which innovates new media, mobile and web technologies for social good, helping people across the world to improve their lives and become active citizens. In more than 20 years, OneWorld has delivered successful ICT and new media projects to improve democracy, health, education, agriculture, livelihoods and the environment all around the world.

OneWorld’s team is currently coordinating and managing multi-year programmes across Africa and Asia, as well as in the UK and Sweden. OneWorld also does on-the-ground scoping studies to get in-depth insight into local realities and works with local people to build technology, train partners and maintain projects. Mixing the best of international development and tech sectors, OneWorld is able to find new leading-edge solutions to age-old problems and then implement those innovations within successful and sustainable projects.
