Seven documentaries were selected for this year’s film project event, which brings together the world’s best social justice films.
The European line up of filmmakers for the seven selected film projects will be travelling from the Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden, UK and Norway. The seven selected film projects are: A Haunting History (Ilse & Femke van Velzen), Blue ID (Burcu Melekoglu & Vuslat Karan), The Borneo Case (Dylan Williams & Erik Pauser), The Island and the Whales (Mike Day), Notes on Blindness (Peter Middleton & James Spinney), Rebels! (Kari Anne Moe) and The Trial of Ratko Mladic (Henry Singer & Rob Miller).
The event will be hosted by the Nordic countries for the very first time, taking place at the Opera House in Oslo, Norway March 25, 2015 and is organised by BRITDOC, a nonprofit foundation based in London, in partnership with the Ford Foundation and the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program.
