For the 20th year running, ‘People in Need‘ are considering nominees for the Homo Homini Awards.

The award is intended for courageous individuals in recognition of their dedication to the promotion of human rights, democracy and non-violent solutions to political conflicts. This year, the human rights award will be given during the One World film festival in Prague in March 2015.

The winning candidate will be decided by the People In Need´s executive board and should be announced at the beginning of January 2015.

The recipient is optimally present in Prague for the award ceremony. However, if that proves to be impossible – as it has been the case with previous winners who were and mostly remain in jail – then a person from his/her close circle may receive it on their behalf.

To nominate someone, please fill in this form with who it is and why they should be considered, and send it to:
[email protected] by Thursday, December 4, 2014.
