On the occasion of the International Day of Democracy, EPD together with the European Parliament, Commission and External Action Service (EEAS), the European Network of Political Foundations, International IDEA and the European Endowment for Democracy organises the event ‘From Civic Activism to Political Reality’.

The panel will feature MEP Ulrike Lunacek (Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance), Levan Tsutskiridze, representative of the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) South Caucasus, Jaouha Ben M’barek, founding member of the Tunisian Manisfeste and Doustourna. The moderator will be Silvio Gonzato, Director for Human Rights and Democracy at the EEAS.
